Do we eat too much meat or are we eating too much junk food is my interpretation of this piece. I don’t like the layout because it’s confusing. The most important part of the message, the statistics, are not very noticeable and are unorganized. This visual aid doesn’t follow the PAT principles of perception, actions or tools. The message needs to make more of an impact.
I would use a chart or pie representation depending on the audience, emphasize the “overproteined” word or change the title to represent my point and organize them according to the number in the statistical information going from lowest to highest. Here, some of the images are unrelated. So, I would use other images and an arrow that goes up like this one. Also, here in the us we read from left to right, so I would design the message to read this way.
